In Ayurveda, health is defined as the dynamic state of balance between our mind, body, and environment. We are a manifestation of the five universal elements: space, air, fire, water and earth. The combination of the five elements forms the Doshas, which are most easily thought of as mind-body principles that govern our physical, emotional, and mental characteristics.
It is possible for each of us to achieve and maintain a vibrant and joyful state of health by identifying our Ayurvedic mind-body type and then creating a lifestyle that sustains and nurtures our unique nature.
